Miley Cyrus' music video filmed to support "Mixed Up", one of "Hannah Montana" soundtracks, has made its way out. It shows her as Hannah Montana taking the stage and performing the song in front of her fans during an indoor concert. She is seen sitting on a high chair during the set.

Miley Cyrus will be touring with band Metro Station, in which her half-brother Trace Cyrus serves as a guitarist/vocalist, this fall. She will kick off the roadshow in Portland on September 14. After hitting around 45 major cities across United States, she will wrap up the tour in Miami on December 2. Miley Cyrus fans braved the heat Monday to catch a glimpse of the teen star.

Some fans waited more than three hours in little or no shade from the sun. The movie, The Last Song continued shooting on Tybee Island although Miley was only on location for a few hours.

But for most of her fans it was worth the wait.

"It's a big deal because Miley's so famous and Savannah is such a small town that I think everyone's really excited for Miley to be here," said Juliet Salgueiro.

"We saw her but we saw her back and we've been waiting for an hour," said Karli Zilberfare.

"We just came and sat and waited for two hours. It was worth it because she loves Miley Cyrus and was worth it for her so it was worth it for me," said Diane Dekeron.

In the wake of a weekend full of celebrity deaths, hackers took advantage of the grief of fans around the world by infiltrating celebrity twitter accounts and posting fake death announcements. Miley Cyrus death announcements, britney spears death announcements and Ellen Degeneres death announcements ARE ALL FAKE.

Hackers exploited vulnerabilities in a web application called Twitpic to post the celebrity death hoaxes. The news of the deaths spread like wildfire and were believed by millions of fans. These jokes seem especially innapropriate given the loss of American celebrity personalities such as Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Billy Mays over the last week.

People should check with a valid news source before spreading rumors of any deaths reported on twitter until Twitpic is able to test their system after they patch the leak that allowed hackers to post to accounts other than their own.

Also people should stop posting hoaxes and death threats on celebrities that they do not like, if you don't like a certain celebrity do you really need to go to these sites and post?  Just stay away and put your energy into something you do like instead of wasting it being a miserable, angry and mean person.

Miley Cyrus has joined American President Obama, CNN, Kim Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher, Al Gore and a small handful of other notable people as one of the first people ever to reach one million followers on social networking site Twitter.

Just a few minutes ago Miley tweeted:

"omg i got over a million followers! thankkkk you! ps shout out to Australia! you guys rock :) i hope to see yall asap!"

The cryptic message seems to indicate that she might soon visit Australia for the first time.

At last count Miley's Twitter follower count stands at 1,053,391.

Tuesday was the last day of filming for The Last Song at the Tybee pier.

Miley Cyrus fans had a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite star at Spanky's Beachside and WTOC had a bird's eye view of all the action.

Many people were standing just a few feet away from her, taking pictures and screaming her name during the shoot.

The scene at Spanky's featured Miley Cyrus getting dropped off by Kelly Preston, John Travolta's wife and plays Miley's mother, in a green station wagon during the Tybee Seafood Festival to visit her father, played by Greg Kinnear.

Spanky's beachside owner John Yarlborough says that the buzz around the movie and Miley have brought unexpected business into his restaurant.

"We have had a bunch of young girls coming in, Miley fans, so business has been great, it was fun to watch ecverything, we don't get access to things like this everyday," Yarlborough told WTOC.

After fillming at The Strand they moved back to the beach, where they filmed more volleyball and carnival scenes.

Filming on Friday and Monday went until around 3am and film crews expect the same for Tuesday night.

Tybrisa Street and The Strand were closed for a few hours during filming. Right now, crews are not scheduled to return to the pier at Tybee Island, but may return to the beach.

No information has been given on other location for filming, but the license plate on the green station wagon was from New York. 

The Last Song is suppose to come out next year and the book comes out in September.

Australian actor Hugh Jackman is apparently set to work with teen superstar Miley Cyrus.

The 40-year-old Australia actor sparked speculation he is set to announce a new movie project with the Hannah Montana star after they were seen having a working lunch at Mortons Steakhouse in Los Angeles.

A fellow diner said: "It was surprising to see Hugh Jackman having a meal with Miley Cyrus. It wasn't romantic. They had a few producer-type people with them. It looked like a business dinner.

"I can only guess what it could be - Im sure it wasn't just Hugh angling for a guest role on Hannah Montana."

The X-Men Origins: Wolverine star currently has over seven films in production.

So maybe another movie in the works for Miley.

Miley posted a cryptic message on Twitter, Saturday afternoon saying, "in one of my favorite cities with my favorite people. guess where i am and what im doing. i will never tell. :)."  A few hours later, she made a surprise appearance with the Jonas Brothers at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  Miley joined the Jonas Brothers on stage to perform her duet with Nick Jonas, "Before the Storm".

Mario Tarradell, music critic for DallasNews.com, had this to say about Miley's appearance at the Jonas Brothers concert, "But perhaps the grandest piece of eye-popping scenery was the surprise appearance of teen queen Miley Cyrus during an encore performance of "Before the Storm" with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas. Everybody went nuts when she emerged to sing the power ballad."

The rumors have been flying around all week, that Miley and Nick have reunited.  So far, they have only confirmed their reconnection as friends.  Does the surprise appearance make these rumors seem more credible?  Not really, to many people try and make more out of situations than they should in the world of celebrities.  They do make a cute couple, but fans will just have to wait and see how things play out.

Following a morning of wave running with her kid sister, Miley Cyrus got to work on the set of “The Last Song” in Tybee Island, Georgia on Friday (June 19).

The “Hannah Montana” cutie walked along the beach, chatting with on-set workers and her co-stars during breaks in the action.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that Kelly Preston will be playing Miley’s mother in the Disney flick, getting back to work for the first time since the tragic passing of her song son, Jett, back in January.

Due out in January 2010, the film also finds actor Greg Kinnear playing the estranged father.

As of this morning, some 926,684 are following what Miley Cyrus has to write on Twitter.

The number is growing rapidly. The last time I looked, it was somewhere around 750,000.

So, what’s so great about following what Miley has to think?

She’s entertaining. Miley talks about her movies, concerts and other projects; but also uses Twitter to allow folks a glimpse of her soul.

Miley writes about the music she is listening to, quotes lyrics that are meaningful to her life and – once in a while – throws a hissy. I’ve never seen her lose her temper unjustifiably.

Among the most entertaining aspects of her Twitter account is her photo sharing. She takes pictures or has pictures taken of who and what mean most to her. She seems down-to-earth and not too worried about looking a little goofy at times.

I recommend it. There are many fake Mileys on Twitter. The only official Miley account is located here.

If you don’t have a Twitter account, don’t sweat it. It’s free and I believe you’ll have fun with it.

Touring with your little sister may not seem appealing to most rockers. But when the sibling in question is Miley Cyrus, older bro Trace Cyrus and his band, Metro Station -- riding high with its own hits "Shake It" and "Kelsey" -- are all too happy to be aboard her upcoming North American trek, which begins Sept. 14.

"I couldn't be more excited," the elder Cyrus tells Billboard.com. "Honestly, I've been away from home for so long I haven't really gotten to see my family for the past two years. I'm gone on the road more than my dad (country star Billy Ray Cyrus), more than my sister. So the fact I'm gonna get to spend that much time with my family and my band, I couldn't be in a happier position. It's my dream come true; I'm gonna have everyone I love out on the road with me. It's gonna be great."

Touring with Miley does have its benefits -- just as the Jonas Brothers, who certainly received an exponential career boost from the opening slot on the Cyrus/Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds Tour in 2007-2008. Metro Station, however, comes to the party after starting to build its own audience in the modern/alternative rock world.

"(Miley) definitely has some younger kids that come to her shows that wouldn't come to our shows," Cyrus acknowledges, "but we're making music for all listeners. We're definitely gonna try to be child-friendly on that tour. We're gonna try to make it our audience as much as we can. I feel like our music can definitely speak to those kids."

Metro Station hopes to have more music in the relatively near future, too. Cyrus says the group has "well over 20 tracks" written for the follow-up to its self-titled 2007 debut and plans to hit the studio after the tour ends in December with a new release in early 2010. "We've definitely matured," he says of the new songs. "I would just say it's Metro Station, a little more electronic and a little more mature, but the same big pop songs that could be played on the radio."

Ever since Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus were caught jet skiing, last week, rumors have been spreading that the Disney stars are back together.

When talk show host, Larry King, asked Nick about his relationship status with Miley, the singer didn't deny or accept any of the claims. Nick simply responded, ‘I think it’s nice to reconnect with her, for a little while there we had...not been as reconnected as we are now. It’s good to have a friend back.’

During the interview, King also grilled the boys about their silver purity rings. The jewelry is a symbol of their vow to abstain from premarital sex.

So what is the purpose of the ring? ‘I think it’s to treat women with respect; ladies with respect. It is a private thing, a private decision that we made a while back,’ revealed Joe.

When Larry asked Kevin, who’s 21, if it was tough to keep his vow, the latter said: ‘Of course, no one’s above temptation...we’re just trying to do our best every single day. And I think we’ve said this a lot, but we’re just trying to make our mom proud.’

If you’re a rapper, singing a song about “Hannah Montana” certainly won’t get you any street cred!  But Lloyd Harold, also known as Kidsyc, is on a mission… one he calls a “musical movement” for his little sister to meet one of America’s biggest “tween” stars.

Harold, a full-time art teacher at Pooler Elementary, came up with the idea of creating a “Hannah Montana” song after talking with some of his students.  “I was at the elementary school,“ Harold says, “and played one of my songs for the kids and realized that they assume that ‘rapper’ means famous. They thought that Mr. Harold could get Hannah Montana. I didn’t want to say no.“  He couldn’t say no to his eight year old sister Amber, either, who comes to Savannah to visit him every summer.  “My sister is a Miley Cyrus fanatic,“ he chuckles.

Harold says he believes kids of all ages are attracted to Miley because she seems very grounded. “She hasn’t let her status or her fame go to her head and young girls notice that.“  So, he did what he does best… he put pen to pad and came up with a pretty catchy tune.  “It started as like a joke,“ recalls Harold, “just me kind of saying "Hannah Montana" over and over in my head.  I made a beat to it and came up with a song.“

His next step was to get folks to listen and eventually bend the ear of Miley Cyrus.  So, he posted his song on social networking sites like Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook hoping someone will take notice and take his request to heart.  When asked what it would mean to him to pull this off, he proudly said, “I would feel like the most awesome big brother ever!  I think it will be a milestone in our brother-sister relationship.“ 

After all, who needs street cred when you have the respect of your baby sister?

Miley Cyrus admits she’s “creeped out” by Twitter — but she still insists on messaging her fans.

The Hannah Montana star, 16, has made a point of saying she writes all her own posts on the popular social-networking site, but is a little uneasy about having the technology at her disposal.

“Twitter is a weird thing for me,” says Miley. “I like it but it worries me that people know exactly where you are. It creeps me out. But I do Twitter and I do it all myself. Nobody else could write the crazy, silly things that I write!”

Miley recently revealed how she has “reconnected” with her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

“He’s my best friend, and we still hang out all the time,” she said. “We’ve definitely reconnected. We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but right now we’re just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can.”

Miley Cyrus took a break from shooting "The Last Song" on the Georgia coast by borrowing a guitar and treating fans to an impromptu, two-song performance on the patio of a beachside seafood restaurant.

"By the time she finished the first song, there must have been 50 little girls and their moms who came rushing up," said Ray Rogers, owner of StingRay's restaurant on Tybee Island. He caught Miley's surprise gig on video.

Rogers said the 16-year-old "Hannah Montana" star dined on snow crab legs with a friend after wrapping up Monday's first day of filming of the Walt Disney Co. movie.

Then she got up and asked a local acoustic duo playing music if she could sit in. Miley stepped up to the microphone and strapped on a guitar to sing the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill duet "It's Your Love," then added a new song of her own.

"She played those and then we got her out of here," Rogers said. "We asked her, `What do you wanna do?' and she said `I want to get out of here.' So we walked her to a side entrance nobody knew about and got her in her car."

"The Last Song" will be filming on Tybee Island and in nearby Savannah until mid-August, stirring interest among locals and tourists alike. The movie features Cyrus as a teenage girl struggling with her parents' divorce who tries to reconnect with her father during a summer at his home in a quiet beach town.

Hard at work on her latest project, Miley Cyrus was spotted popping in and out of her trailer on the set of “The Last Song” in Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday (June 17).

Joined by co-star Liam Hemsworth, the “Hannah Montana” starlet started production on the upcoming Disney film earlier this week.

In related news, it was just recently announced that Greg Kinnear and Kelly Preston have been added to the film’s cast and will play Miley’s parents.

In the movie, Miley is playing “a teen who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father.”

Miley Cyrus continues to grow up in front of our eyes as she kisses co-star Liam Hemsworth on the lips as they shoot, "The Last Song" in Savannah, Georgia on Monday afternoon (June 15).

"The Last Song" is about a rebellious teenager (Cyrus) who is forced to spend the summer with the father who left her years earlier. Hemsworth is playing a member of the local cool crowd, an awesome beach volleyball player with Ivy League dreams.

The 16-year-old just tweeted about the kiss saying, “i am not dating liam! we have a kissing scene on the beach today :) im just working :) not a bad jobhuh? haha”

Teen queen Miley Cyrus has scored a whopping ten nominations for Fox’s upcoming Teen Choice Awards.

“Omg i got nominated for 10 teen choice awards!!! ahhh thank u so much i love u guys,” Miley said on her twitter page this morning after the nominations were announced.

Among her noms, Miley was recognized for her lead role in "Hannah Montana: The Movie", Best Female Actress and Female Hottie.

Coming in just ahead of Miley was cult-hit vampire flick Twilight, which leads the pack with a grand total of 12 nominations.

Gossip Girl and High School Musical 3: Senior Year are also expected front runners.

The Teen Choice Awards, hosted by the Jonas Brothers, air Aug. 10 on Fox.

U.S. singer and actor Billy Ray Cyrus said the upcoming fourth season of TV's "Hannah Montana" will be the show's last.

Cyrus co-stars on The Disney Channel family comedy with his 16-year-old daughter, Miley. The cast recently completed work on the show's third season.

Cyrus said in an interview for "Access Hollywood" and "The Billy Bush Show" that Season 4 of "Hannah Montana" is expected to air in 2010 and to include 11 half-hour installments and a 1-hour series finale.

"Quite frankly, I give a lot of credit to Miley for taking it to another year," Cyrus said. "She didn't want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did. She wanted it to build to where there's a moral to the story, to where it doesn't just end and go away and that's it. She wanted there to be an official ending to "Hannah Montana.'"

He said the final season is slated to start shooting around the end of January.

Enjoying a day of fun in the sun, Miley Cyrus was spotted out jet-skiing in the waters off of Tybee Island, Georgia on Sunday afternoon (June 14).

Down south for the filming of “The Last Song,” Miley and her gal pal took to the waves.

Keeping her fans in the know via her Twitter account, Miley wrote, “About to ride jetskiis with the cast!!!! No pictures please haha. I just made my self laugh, I am a total dork!”

After finishing up, the “Hannah Montana” starlet added, “Had a wonderful day today. For a moment I got to escape the “not so great” part of life, its called-reality.”

Miley Cyrus shows off her brand new nose piercing while having dinner with her mom/manager Tish Cyrus in Savannah, Georgia on Thursday (June 11).

The 16-year-old Disney starlet must have looked to her older sister, Brandi, for inspiration. Brandi has had a nose piercing just like Miley’s for awhile now!

Miley is in town for the next three months to shoot her new movie, "The Last Song," so I have a feeling this piercing is for the movie in which she plays a "rebellious teen", a completely different change from her "Hannah Montana" character, and I cannot wait to see her in a role other than "Hannah."

The sappy Justin says he just can't sleep and even quoted John Mayer, asking, "Do I have to fall asleep with roses in my hands?"

He also admits to crying, writing, "How many tears are in* there? They've gotta run out soon, right?"

Miley Cyrus jets off to Savannah, Georgia, later on Sunday, June 7, to start an exciting new phase of her career, as an actress out of the Hannah Montana mould.

Understandably, Miley is both excited and sad with her move to Georgia – Excited because it represents a big step forward in her career and sad because she has to leave her friends and family in Los Angeles.

“Sad tonight is my last night in la,” Miley tweeted last night.

Earlier, this week she had tweeted:

“i am gonna miss everyone so much, but im super stoked about " the last song" :)”

Miley, 16, completed filming for Hannah Montana Season 3 yesterday and attended a wrap up party. She is looking forward to the 4th season of the show that catapulted her to stardom as a 13-year-old.

“crazy day. just left the wrap party for hannah montana season 3 :( sad for the ending and stoked for a new beginning! 4th season here i come,” Miley tweeted earlier today.

Miley has already been working on "The Last Song" while in Los Angeles, taking lessons from a dialect coach to shed her southern accent.

"The Last Song" has been specially penned for Miley by novelist Nicholas Sparks ("The Notebook"). Disney’s adaption of the novel will be helmed by Julie Anne Robnison who in the past has directed TV series like "Grey's Anatomy" (Five episodes) and "Cutting It".

Miley will romance Australian actor Liam Hemsworth in the drama centered on a rebellious young woman who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father.

Hemsworth plays a member of the local cool crowd, an awesome beach volleyball player with Ivy League dreams.

Hemsworth starred in the recent Sci-Fi drama mystery "Knowing: starring Nicolas Cage. He has also featured in Australian TV series like "The Elephant Princess" (2008) and "Neighbors" (2008).

Miley has denied a recent report in Star magazine that she is moving out of her parents home.

Miley says she is “sick and tired of rumors and gossip!”

“I am not moving out! That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard!”

After she completes filming for "The Last Song", Miley will embark on her ‘2009 North American Tour’. The tour kicks off on September 14, 2009 in Portland, Oregon and spans 45 dates across North America.

Last night (June 5) Miley Cyrus was spotted at The Grove hanging out and performing.

The “7 Things” songstress was actually in the house to show her support for pal Mitchel Musso, who was giving a free concert.  And of course she ended up on stage before the evening was over.

Following the performance, Miley had a hard time making an exit as there was a plethora of fans seeking pictures and autographs.

Prior to the show, Miley tweeted, “stoked to rock out with mitchel musso I got stuck at a business meeting but I will not miss my little punks concert! R u there?”

Always in high demand, Miley Cyrus took the stage for a big Wal-Mart shareholders meeting at the Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday (June 5).

The “Hannah Montana” starlet performed for the esteemed audience of 14,000 people, joining fellow celebrities in attendance including Michael Jordan, Smokey Robinson and Paula Rubino.

Will Miley-mania extend into 2009?

We’ll find out come June 13, when tickets go on sale for Miley Cyrus' 2009 North American tour, which opens Sept. 14 in Portland, Ore., reaches Southern California for stops Sept. 22 at Staples Center in L.A. and Sept. 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

The tour encompasses 45 dates in 43 cities, concluding Dec. 2 in Miami, and will feature Metro Station as her opening act at all performances. Notably, it's being billed as a Miley Cyrus tour, without marquee billing for her Disney Channel alter ego, Hannah Montana, as on her previous tour.

Her previous tour set off a ticket feeding frenzy among her teen and preteen fans, with scalpers asking thousands of dollars for the best seats at various stops.

This time, tour promoter AEG Live is using a paperless ticket delivery system, where ticket buyers will be admitted to the shows by showing a government issued photo ID and the credit card used to buy their tickets. It’s similar to a system AC/DC used successfully to reduce scalping on its last tour.

Miley Cyrus and Max Azria have signed a deal with Wal-Mart to create a clothing line for juniors.

The clothing line will be called "Miley Cyrus and Max Azria" and will include tops, pants, graphic T-shirts and shoes, and all will be priced under $20. It will go on sale at Wal-Mart Stores and online at www.walmart.com.

The Disney Channel has ordered a fourth season of its hit series "Hannah Montana," starring teen sensation Miley Cyrus.

Production on the show's current season is wrapping this week and shooting will resume early next year, the cable channel announced Monday.

In announcing the decision, a statement said: "Miley and the producers have proposed a change of setting for Season Four that will provide the catalyst for wonderful new characters and further expand the storytelling opportunities."

The popular series was also made into a film, "Hannah Montana: The Movie", which launched in April. The movie won Miley an MTV award for Best Song, "The Climb," which was presented to her last night at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

She’s no stranger to high-profile events, and at tonight’s 18th Annual MTV Movie Awards Miley Cyrus was working her magic on the red carpet.

The “Hannah Montana” hottie arrived at the Gibson Amphitheatre sporting a sleeveless muted pink dress teamed with a pair of ivory-colored heels.

Miley picked up Best Song in a Movie at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards last night in Universal City, CA, beating out some stiff competition for like Bruce Springsteen and Paramorefor the golden popcorn.

The 16-year-old actress/singer was presented with her award by Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester and rapper Lil Wayne.

“Dude! Lil Wayne just handed me my award,” an excited Miley told the crowd as she accepted her trophy.

She thanked her fans who came out in droves to vote for the singer to win, but she saved the biggest thanks for the man upstairs. “I wanna thank God. Hellooo! The only reason I’m here!”

She left the stage after making a reference to the show’s host Andy Samburg. “I’m on a boat!”
