For Miley Cyrus, her recent "Sex and the City 2" cameo appearance was all about the fashion.
In her scene, Miley Cyrus, 16, wears the same dress as Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) at what appeared to be a movie premiere for Samantha's on-and-off beau, Smith Jerrod (Jason Lewis).
Cast members Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Chris Noth (Mr. Big) and Mario Cantone (Anthony Marantino) were also at the shoot, which took place at New York City's Ziegfeld Theater. A marquee revealed the Smith Jerrod movie to be titled Heart of the Dessert.
But while Miley indulged her passion for style, at the end of the day she wasn't able to expand her wardrobe, like the show's quartet of fashionistas.
"I didn't get to keep the dress because they need it for Kim," Miley tells Extra. "But I got to keep the necklace. The necklace is cool. It's, like, these giant spikes, and I wanted to wear it while I was performing. My mom was like, 'That could be dangerous. ...You can't wear that onstage.'"
A self-proclaimed "huge fan" of the "Sex and the City" franchise, Miley says it was a thrill to meet series star Parker.
"Sarah Jessica Parker is so cute," Miley Cyrus -- currently on tour promoting her single "Party in the U.S.A." -- says. "And the first thing she did was hold someone's coffee so that they could take a picture with me."
Other stars said to appear in next May's sequel include Penelope Cruz, Tim Gunn and Liza Minnelli.

Admitting in an interview with The B96 Morning Show that she feels much better now that she has quit Twitter, Miley Cyrus wasn't hesitant to say she thinks the site should be banned from the universe. On the reason why, she claimed the micro-blogging site could bring bad influence to people in case it could make them addicted. Besides, she also hinted at invasion of privacy as the other possible reason.
In the same interview, Miley also talked about her single "Party in the U.S.A.", one of the songs listed in her mini album "The Time of Our Lives". The track has successfully climbed to No.1 on iTunes. The song which was said to be containing "semi-autobiographical" lyrics that revolve around Miley's move from Tennessee to California, was first showcased at 2009 Teen Choice Awards in early August. She, moreover, also talked about her future music projects.
Miley Cyrus abruptly deleted her Twitter account in early October. She had more than 2 million followers by the time she quit using the social networking site. In some different interviews she stressed the need of privacy as the reason.

In a year of milestones for Miley Cyrus, the Hollywood Records superstar just reached another big one, having her first #1 hit single at Top 40 radio with "Party in the U.S.A." On October 26, the single hit the top spot, with nearly 11,000 spins, beating out competing tracks by Beyonce and Lady GaGa.
The single was culled from Miley's seven-song E.P. "The Time of Our Lives," released this fall at Wal-Mart stores. That E.P. followed her #1 2008 album, "Breakout," her fourth straight chart-topping CD. Miley is currently on her 55-city 2009 North American "Wonder World" tour, and next will do the same overseas. Her fall 2009 U.K. tour sold out weeks in advance, the first time that has ever been done by a female artist touring Britain for the first time.
JURY REFUSES TO INDICT MILEY CYRUS' ALLEGED STALKER

A Georgia grand jury has refused to indict Miley Cyrus' alleged stalker due to insufficient evidence. 53-year-old Mark McLeod, who claims the tween queen sends him "secret messages" through her TV show, will not face felony charges.
McLeod was arrested twice over the summer near the set of the 16-year-old star's movie, "The Last Song."
Police report shows McLeod told officers during his first arrest that he was Miley's fiancé. He alleged he was also destined to be with her and that they exchanged secret messages.
He has been in custody since August 4.
But the grand jury refused to indict him on charges of attempted stalking, obstruction of a police officer and disturbing the peace because of insufficient evidence.
McLeod still faces two misdemeanor charges of criminal attempt to commit stalking and disorderly conduct.
Meanwhile, Miley's "The Last Song" will be released April 2010.

Miley Cyrus performs at a Concert For Hope.
Taking the stage for a good cause, Miley Cyrus was among the stars performing at the second annual Concert for Hope on Sunday afternoon (October 25).
Held at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, the proceeds from the event help to “fund lifesaving cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope - one of the nation’s leading cancer centers.”
Other celebs to put on a show for the charitable cause included Demi Lovato and Jesse McCartney.
Aside from the Concert of Hope, Miley also happens to be donating $1 from every ticket sold during her current Wonder World Tour to City of Hope endeavors.

Teen pop singer Miley Cyrus entertained a sold-out crowd at the New Orleans Arena.
Miley's show Tuesday night had been sold out since the summer. Opening for Miley is the electronic rock band Metro Station, for which Miley's older brother, Trace, is a vocalist and guitarist.
The performance marked the teen star's second visit to New Orleans this year.
Back in April, just before "Hannah Montana: The Movie" opened in theaters, Miley and her country music singer dad Billy Ray Cyrus visited the set of "Live with Regis and Kelly," which was filming in New Orleans.
In an interview with the syndicated morning talk show's hosts, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, Miley Cyrus said she used to visit New Orleans for cheerleading competitions and enjoyed walking through the French Quarter wearing colorful boas and masks.

John Mayer has spoken about Miley Cyrus's decision to quit Twitter.
The "Hannah Montana" star left the micro-blogging website earlier this month, claiming she wanted to regain her “private life”.
“How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing?” the 16-year-old said.
Mayer, who is a regular Twitter user, said he could understand Miley's reason for leaving the website.
"She's smart enough to realise there is some interference of the brain that she doesn't want to deal with," he told MTV.
"I think if you're in Miley's situation, it might take a little too much time to play goalie for your own heart and mind."

Timbaland has revealed the star-studded line up for his forthcoming third solo album.

OMAHA! Miley Cyrus is back!
Not on Twitter, but the teen pop star will be in Omaha for a concert Tuesday night after having to cancel an earlier concert because of illness.
All tickets for the originally-scheduled Oct. 2 show will be honored Tuesday at Omaha's Qwest Center.
Miley left the stage during a concert late last month in Salt Lake City after becoming ill, but later returned to finish the show.
She has been a hot topic online in recent days after quitting her Twitter site last week, puzzling her fans. She had more than 2 million followers on the site.
Billboard magazine shows Miley Cyrus currently has the country's No. 2 song, "Party In The U.S.A."

"To my dearest fans,
You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered "working. But, in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a "normal" life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don't seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? Some things in my life need to say in my life only and not on some gossip site. I never want any of my fans to feel like I don't love them or care about them BUT, sharing the same love and respect for me I need to have the space to grow as a person and make some mistakes. I need to be able to live and learn in private. I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can't have my personal life be other peoples entertainment.
Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on. This is not an attack against this particular site, I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace. My problem with the internet is it makes negativity so available. It allows people to anonymously hurt others without any consequences. That is not the real world. Not only that, but if we spent more time enjoying what we are doing besides tweeting about it, we would enjoy our lives a whole lot more. I have very little free time and the moments that I do have I should be spending with my family and friends and loving every minute of their company.
Now of course rumors have been started that Liam is the reason that I deleted my twitter. I hope my true fans know how stupid that is. I had mentioned to him that someone made a fake twitter with his name and we both starting chatting about how ridiculous it is. Liam is a wonderful friend and he did not try to make me delete my page, he just helped me realize how much time I was wasting on that site.
I really hope you all know how much you mean to me and how much I truly care about each and every one of you. I will keep in touch through Mileyworld and MileyCyrus.com as I did before twitter. I love you all.

In a new YouTube video, Miley sings about her personal reasons for quitting Twitter. "Yeah, the rumors are true, I deleted my Twitter," Miley raps in the video. "I had to say goodbye," she continues, "and this little rap is to tell my fans why."
Her reasons? In her rap she says, "I want my private life private, I'm living for me."
When Miley deleted her Twitter account on Thursday, her last tweet, "FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason," she wrote at the time. Now, she says in her song, "It wasn't because my friend told me to. I stopped living for moments and started living for people."
She says she is done with it because she is too busy. No More Twitter is the message in her rap.
Her dad Billy Ray Cyrus is not happy his daughter has shut down her Twitter account and said on Twitter, “Miley, You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born ‘Destiny Hope Cyrus’ for a reason. You can’t leave everyone now. We r counting on u.’ he tweeted.

Well it seems Miss Miley can't make up her mind. Is she or isn't she dating Liam Hemsworth? It seems our post the other day may have been wrong.
First the two deny even dating then on Thursday Miley deleted her account but not before posting this to her many fans and followers “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason.”
Really, Miley? You are the hottest young starlett out there over 2 million followers and you delete it just like that for a boy? WEAK!!!!

Shut Up? Really? Well darling if you don't want the world talking about you, how about you shutting up? You are the one who tweets personal things treating it like a personal dear diary and then wonder why we LAME bloggers, blog about it? Because you put it out there for us to blog about! You don't want every personal thing blogged about? You put it out there its now free news available to us all, don't like it? Maybe you should keep it to yourself.
And where would you be without all us crazy lame fans/bloggers? Because lets face it without the fans and even the bloggers who spend money out of their own pockets with little or no return and are dedicated to a blog designed just for you and your "Hannah Montana" character, you probably wouldn't be where you are now!
So yes, please call us Lame and turn your back on your fans and followers we are only the ones who buy your albums, pay top dollar to see your shows so we can bring our little girls to the shows that hang on every word you say and want to be just like you when they grow up!

Miley Cyrus is promoting the new campaign of "Get Ur Good On" with the nonprofit Youth Service America.
A recently revealed campaign, Miley Cyrus wants people her age to get involved and do something in their community. The video PSA, full of silly moments that make Miley quite adorable reminds teens and tweens they need to be part of the solution in their community and be good stewards.
Going a step farther, "Get UR Good On" has an interactive website for teenagers, tweens and parents to review. Highlighting videos and pictures of Miley Cyrus and her tour, the site offers suggestions of what average kids can do to make a difference.
Of course there is sugar to sweeten this do gooder campaign! Disney is offering tickets to a Miley Cyrus concerts for those kids who make an outstanding contribution as well as Miley promises on the video to name people who have made a difference.

MILEY CYRUS AND LIAM HEMSWORTH ROMANCE RUMOURS UNTRUE
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are co-stars in next year's drama flick, "The Last Song". They have been romantically linked since they began working on the big screen project. In August this year, there were reports claiming the alleged lovers were seen kissing at Nashville International Airport.
The claims have been turned down by Miley. Besides, the Disney actress-singer and Liam have both denied they are an item.
Earlier this week, Chicago Sun-Times newspaper reported Miley's father Billy was concerned that she is moving too fast and too far with her romance with the Australian actor. "Billy Ray is worried the their relationship is going too far, too fast," said the source. "It's causing a lot of conflict in the family."

After several postponements of shows on her "Wonder World Tour", Miley Cyrus is set to return to the stage on Tuesday, October 6 after her bout of illness - and has promised fans an extra special show to celebrate.
The "Hannah Montana" star was forced to axe three gigs on her U.S. tour last week after she was taken ill with the strep throat.
But after resting up over the weekend , the teen sensation has been given the all-clear to perform again - and wants to make up for lost time when she takes the stage in Auburn Hills, Michigan on Tuesday night.
She writes on her Twitter.com blog, "Got the go ahead from the Doc & the beast is ready to be unleashed! I always love performing in MI but this show is gonna get crazzzzyyy!"

MILEY POSTPONES ANOTHER SHOW DUE TO ILLNESS

Fans of Miley Cyrus will be disappointed that Sunday night's scheduled concert in St. Louis has been postponed until October 28th because the teen superstar has strep throat. Her concert Saturday night in Kansas City was postponed until Oct. 17. All paperless tickets for the postponed shows will be honored on the rescheduled date. Refunds also are available. The show will still begin at 7:00pm with opening act Metro Station.

MILEY CYRUS STILL SICK, POSTPONES MORE SHOWS

Miley Cyrus had postponed her planned Friday (10/2) night concert Omaha, NE, and her scheduled Saturday (10/3) show in Kansas City, MO, because of problems with her throat.
According to the Omaha World Herald, Miley reportedly fell ill earlier this week, and at one point during her Salt Lake City concert Tuesday night (9/29), left the stage with flu-like symptoms. She reportedly returned to the stage after about 15 minutes and finished the show.
Posts on Miley's Twitter account over the past several days seem to indicate that strep throat is the primary cause the Omaha delay. The cure? Miley has been tweeting about watching films (Disney, of course) and eating a lot of Popsicles.
The Omaha show has been rescheduled for October 13, and the Kansas City show is now set for Oct. 17. All paperless tickets for the postponed shows will be honored on the rescheduled date. Refunds also are available.

The only thing Miley Cyrus is singing these days is the blues.
The teen pop sensation was forced to cancel her Friday night concert in Omaha, Nebraska because she came down with strep throat -- and was being nursed back to health by her kid sister.
"Nurse Noah is taking good care of me tonight," she wrote on her Twitter page. "I just put on a Snuggie and ate a popsicle."
The 16-year old left the stage in the middle of her set during a concert in Salt Lake City on Sept. 29, but the 15-minute break proved not to be enough. The following day the starlet tweeted that she was feeling under the weather.
Keep your fingers crossed Omaha. I am not feeling to [sic] good this morning...." she twitted.
Miley was feeling tired before the start of her Wonder World Tour, she told People magazine.
"I'm a little tired I will admit," she told the magazine. "But I'm just taking it easy when I can and taking care of myself."
The cancelled show was rescheduled for Oct. 13. Miley is scheduled to return to the stage on Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri.

MILEY CYRUS FALLS ILL WHILE ON HER WONDER WORLD TOUR

Miley Cyrus is reportedly suffering from a severe strep throat infection.
Only days into her Wonder World tour, the young singer and "Hannah Montana" star is said to be exhausted from her hectic travel schedule.
"Woke up with a sore throat," Miley tweeted to announce her illness. "Why am I always sick?"
Tuesday night in Salt Lake City, the sixteen year old walked off stage while still performing a song.
The crowd was promptly notified that Miley was ill and required medical attention.
Minutes later, Miley returned to the stage to finish her show, but not before informing the audience of her strep throat infection.
Cyrus is expected to continue the rest of her tour without any cancellations.
